Dicor bubbles

I removed and redid the caulk around my antenna using dicor lap sealant. applied as directed. the caulk has large bubbles as if it didnt adhere properly. it's actually lifting the epdm up on the edges. you can press the caulk bubbles and clearly feel an air bubble below.

any idea whats going on? temps were about 50 when applied with lows near 40 at night.

the factory caulk around plumbing vents has lifted the epdm a little too but no air bubbles

I recently used the Dicor Lap Sealant to replace a mushroom vent. It was on a sunny day but probably only in the mid 60s.

You can see after the damaged vent was removed the original sealant had wrinkled the roof fabric around the vent.

I used a new tube of the Dicor Lap Sealant and it applied in globs around the new vent base but within minutes had settled to a nice round evenly thick seal. I wasn't concerned with what looks to be in the photo a few small bubbles???

on closer inspection, the caulk did adhere to the epdm but the epdm has lifted and has some pretty big air bubbles underneath. everything looks water tight, but it just doesn't look right
