Cover, yes or no?

Sorry, I know this gets discussed a lot, and I wouldn't bother with one normally, but I'm wondering if my particular situation might warrant one.

The spot where I will be storing the trailer at home over the winter is completely surrounded by large trees. That means for sure the trailer will get covered in leaves, pine needles, sap and no doubt some small branches over the winter. That's not to mention the easily 2 feet of snow on top for months.

I'm kind of thinking I have no choice but to get one, are there any alternatives? If not, any suggestions?

Don,

I would definately want some kind of protection from the sap, I get enough of that on the roof during spring and summer.

Tarps aren't a very good option, they actually trap moisture, if a shelter is out of the question, that leaves a breathable cover.
