https://imgur.com/gallery/XqEIeDTThe 50 amp cord is so heavy that its ripping the receptacle right out of the wall. The top 2 screws are loose now. I could glue the receptacle back on and add some longer screws and put a backer on the inside. I'd rather not let a dealer hack job this repair.

Has anyone else had this issue?
Mine had started to do the same thing. I bought one of these and now I support the cable a bit also...
I have the same one Frank has and swear by it. Been connected for 18 months straight and still hangin!

I agree. Been using one for 4 years now with no issues. I had to repair my Dad's Yellowstone a few years ago for the same problem. I think these things should come from the factory with a 90 degree end on the cord.
I loop the cord over the rear bumper so that it reduces/relieves the pressure. When I tuck the cord between the bumper and the back wall of the trailer it provides enough support to keep the cord in place and prevent the inlet from getting too much downward pressure. Seems to work as I've been doing it for 2+ years.
I used 2.5" 10-24 Stainless bolts and nuts and drilled the existing holes all the way through the wall to add support for this receptacle. Took less than 10 minutes and I don't expect to have anymore problems with this.
Pics in case anyone else ever runs across this problem
What I did to eliminate the stress of the cord sticking straight out was to buy a ninety degree cord adaptor. It let the cord hang straight down. Less stress.
