Who can't use a few cubic feet more storage space?

In my 2013 Voltage 3800 I have a four door refigerator. It sits on a platform and under it is the water heater. Next to the water heater is a big ole empty space of nothingness that can be used for more junk.

A few hinges, touch latch catches and a relief cut on the top of the louver now makes this space usable.

SUNDANCER:

In the middle picture I see a clear air deflector on top of the duct. How well is that working for you. Does it make some difference?

I put it there to direct the warm air across the floor instead of blowing up to the ceiling where I don't stand. I'm sure the floor is warmer during cold weather, I don't spend that much time in the kitchen anyway.

I have them on all of the registers to keep the warm air down as long as possible. Just another two dollar trick to beat the engineers down.

I do have another one stuck to the output side of the bedroom A/C. It seemed kind of dumb to be blowing cold air at the foot of the bed. The A/C in zone 1, the kitchen, also thows a little cold air out of the bedroom A/C when it's on. I can leave the zone 1 A/C on most of the night and get the benefit of the cold air blowing across my head without the immediate noise from the zone 2 A/C.

Nice idea! Not a whole lot of room, I imagine my little 2 door will have less, but I like the idea of access to the area. Is seems they said something about getting in there for some service, the water heater bypass? I'll put this trick on my list.

Sundancer 87, Great idea with the extra space under the fridge and the "clear hot air floor diff-user." Will have to give them both a try.

Nice job, just found the next mod I want to do. I have already been down in this area and tied up all the loose wires and hoses and was thinking "wow what a waste of space" after I got done. Thanks for the idea.

Brilliant idea. I'll have to incorporate this into my rig as well. Especially like the deflector for the zone 2 bedroom AC. You're right. It just blows on your feet. Deflecting toward the head of the bed would be better.

I opened mine up and it had a heater hose in the middle on the right. Lots of wires and water lines i suppose for the washer hook up on the adjacent wall. It also had a drain line passing from the washer drain to the holding tank. I am sorry to say my 3200 is packed on the underside. I suppose I could get a couple can goods ir a package of napkins but not much more. My luck
