Weber Q-1200 grill

Hi all, I'm looking to replace the stock grill that came in our Kodiak with a Weber Q-1200. Anyone have this grill? I'm not a "grill person" so I just did a quick search and this one seems to get good reviews. Anyway, my main question is I wanted to know if there is a kit or way to use the propane quick connect system that I use for the current grill?
Thanks,
Randy

It is not too hard to hook up to the propane valve on the side of the rig, it just takes a bit of work to find the right parts. I did a write up on my blog recently on how to do it, it should work for most any Weber Q models:

I have my Weber Q connected to the camper LP system with a QD as well. I recommend removing the regulator from the grill and install the QD AFTER the regulator on the camper. I have had much better results as far as flame control on the grill that way.

The Q is a great grill. Hook up like above. Be sure to take out the grill regulator as mentioned. On mine the water heater is at the back and put "T" at the end of black pipe and water heater connection. It is also right at entry door.

Thanks everyone for the help. Just picked up the Q1200, happy Fathers Day to me! Will work on the conversion next week. For now I just grabbed a disposable bottle to cook the steaks [emoji1]

Won't go wrong with a Weber grill.

Just used ours this weekend, even used it as a stove top and cooked bacon in a pan with it.
I bought this for the conversion
