Upgrading the Ceiling Light Fixtures

Here is a mod we made to our Dutchmen 25C-GS.

In the first picture you can see the nice light fixture over the dinette. If you look close you can see the more common double bulb light fixture over the bed.

In the second picture you can see the updated matching fixture over the bed. We feel it was a big improvement in the overall look of the cabin.

Looks good and adds a bit of class to that bedroom ceiling!

Definitley gives it a more "homey" look.

Re: Upgrading the Ceiling Light Fixtures

The people from Gustafson Lighting were great to work with getting the exact same globe and down to the same "finial". Gave them the VIN and they came up with the purchase order of when Dutchmen ordered them. Had a series of great conversations and emails with Cindy, as we sent pictures to get the same dimensions. The whole thing was a great experience and a 15 minute change/install. Used the double 12 volt fixture that was removed to replace a single unit, that looked out of place to me over the couch, and that single unit is going in the storage compartment on the driver's (port) side, since the Dutchmen only came with one on the passenger (stbd) side of the forward storage compartment.

Re: Upgrading the Ceiling Light Fixtures

Nice, if I lived in the US I might consider this but I suspect they will be a fortune to get shipped to Canada.
