What size are the spacers on either side of the two new shocks?

My shock mounts were a little out of alignment (surprise!) so each side was slightly different by 1-2 washers. Just make sure the shocks aren't touching each other but as close as possible.

Just completed the modification. We traveled a couple thousand miles last month, and the bucking was starting to wear me down. Looking forward to seeing how it is over the next couple thousand miles next month!

Here is what my finished product is. 9" half inch bolt, washers, and locknut.

Mine is similar but you will need to add or remove the washers to get the shocks in alignment. I added no washers on top but had to add 6 washers to the left side shock to get it aligned and added 1 washer to the right side.

Went 400 miles yesterday and there most definitely is an improvement! Only had one notable bump, but it was not as severe.
