ToolBox

2010 Dutchman Coleman 240RB
Not my Idea, but it worked out fine, Lot of extra room...Had to use a longer shank on the hitch for clearance.

Re: ToolBox

Nice idea and great for storage...depending on the stuff you put in it ...I think it will increase the weight on your TT tongue and in my opinion u may have to increase the weight rating for the hitch.

Re: ToolBox

The box is aluminum and pretty light, I am putting stuff in that normally goes in the front storage area..I am sure it will add a little TW but the hitch can handle it...I did have to use a longer hitch shank to get more turning clearance, I did have to move the propane tanks forward about 1 inch and cut out the plastic cover to recess the Electric motor...All in all I am pretty happy with it, it towed OK and does give a lot more storage for some of the bulky light items...

Re: ToolBox

Yes battery is inside, Put vents in box, also put a battery cutoff switch on side of box so that I can shut battery when stored, top prevent drain...
