Replace Jackknife Sofa

We have a Dutchmen 24' TT with a slide that has the jackknife sofa. Unfortunately, this slide does not go to the floor. We want to put in some kind of recliners, chairs or love seat, and can't find anything that works. Does anyone know of a recliner that works with our type of slide? The floor of the slide is about 20" above the floor of the trailer.
Thanks,
RichH

Am I understanding this right. Your slide floor sits 20" higher than the main floor of the trailer. Iv'e seen lots of RVs with slides, never seen one higher than about 2-3" above the floor. Could you post a picture?

You are understanding correctly. I will try and get some photos today and get an exact measurement.

Jackknife sofa

Hi, As you know I also have the 24RBSL. I have also thought about trying to replace the sofa, all we use it for is storage and to pile stuff on it. These little RV sofas are real uncomfortable after about 30 minutes. The only way I can sit on it is to pull it out as a bed and put a bunch of pillows on it. It is strange as to why they have such a big space under it? If you come up with any ideas please tell me!! I will be going camping this weekend and have a bunch of maintenance to do. The Winegard SENSAR III ANTENNA is leaking down the worm gear shaft. I got a new one on eBay for $14.00 free shipping. I hope it is just the little washers that dried out from not being lubricated 2X a year? Also the door holder is totally broken from sun damage. I bought that to on eBay too. I have to pump new grease in the EZ lube hubs on one side of the trailer. I did one side about a week ago and cleaned the roof with Camco rubber roof cleaner and conditioner. I still have about half a bottle of Protect All 68032 Rubber Roof Treatment from the last time I will put apply it too. Wash and wax the whole rig!! Busy weekend
