LOL! I have AccuWeather, Wunderground (Paid), Hi-Def Weather, Weather, Storm Radar, and the Weather Channel (paid)! I started to get a little disenchanted with Wunderground since all the changes so I started looking for something better. have NOT found the ultimate yet except the NOAA site where I cold watch the radar myself.

I have helped clean up to many places with fatalities in my Air Force career and now as an Amateur Radio Emergency Services operator. When the tone goes off - go to a shelter.

Also if you have a shelter at your home location PLEASE get someone with a GPS locator to take readings at the location and give them to your local fire department so they know where to look for the opening when there is debris all over the area. OK I'll get off the soapbox now

Ouch! ok. I was trying to be humorous. I would hope that the adults in this room would not take me that seriously. But thanks for the info. And thank you for your service!

Just as an FYI. I am a Ham also. I have taken the CERTS COURSE and have other experience. We have a crawlspace that we can walk into. Surrounded by cinder blocks and in a recessed part of the ground. Not protection from an EF-5. But that is life in the country. We are prepared. Supplies and more

For those that may be interested in C.E.R.T.S.

Also some very interesting TORNADO History for any part of the country. A great website. Search for your neck of the woods.

Born Navy... raised Army... gonna die Civilian

My Dad was Navy, I grew up on an Army base, tried to go Navy and got kicked out after 3 weeks due to lack of a medical waiver. My brother was USAF, BIL was Navy and is still USAF retiring in May 2019. Live on the north side of Fort Bragg USA, surrounds my 40 acres on 3 sides.

ALL of the US Armed Forces ROCK!
