New Seating

Well I got tired of the old bench/lounge seating. Both are recliners and very comfortable. Perfect for the two of us!

How do you keep from sliding off?

Velcro works fine. Don't know why when posting a pic from my camera roll on an iPad it does this.

What did you end up doing on the end of the couch? Like you, I ended up replacing the bench couch for a recliner. It is the length of a loveseat so there was space at the end. I went with a nightstand style cabinet that allowed for storage underneath for vacuum parts and it's tall enough to set drinks on, etc. If I were to do it again, I would install theatre type seating that would fill the entire space.

These seats are wide us with the console in the middle I only have 5 in he's to spare. I'm just going to center the seating group between the walls. We looked at the theater seating but this option worked out great with width and is a wall hugged unit. The base fits perfect on the slide. The depth of the seat is longer and doesn't allow much room to walk with the slide in. Not a problem for me.

Looks good, I like this mod, I have the chincy little sofa bed with air mattress, and the super dinette next to it. Any idea on weight difference between the two units? Also, if you don't mind, where did you pick up the new lounger/recliners? Thanks!

From what I weighed it was 5lb lighter. We bought them at Art Van. They really are light weight. The other nice thing is they will lay completely flat. Nice when I get kicked out of the bedroom. Lol.

These are actually 3 pieces that connect. The 2 chairs are approx $400 and the center condolences is 325.
