LINK Wireless Touchscreen Remote mods

For those of you who have the LINK touchscreen remote on your rigs, have you made any mods to control additional circuits? Dutchmen only uses four circuits on my system, but it can accomodate up to seven. I plan on adding a LED rope light to the door side undercarriage and was considering using one of the extra spots to control it with the remote. It looks fairly simple, and if it works as planned I may look into adding other things, such as starting/stopping the generator. Yeah... I know I don't really need that, but for those of us that like to tinker it seems like a fun project.

Here is a link to the wireless system if anyone is not familiar with what I'm taking about and here is a link to the programming instructions.

I would love to have my second awning on the remote but I haven't looked into how difficult it would be to add it. Figured it would be more of a pain than it's worth.

I was looking at the document on the Linc system and it says you can program (sync) a second remote to the system. I suspect though (not yet verified) that the control panel on the wall is considered a remote and so we cannot program/sync another remote to the system. When I install by panel back lighting I will be able to get a look behind the Linc wall control to see if there are any wires or not. If there are not any wires other than power, another remote will be added. Otherwise what we got is what we got.

Try looking behind removable panels in the unit. I found mine behind the panel under my bathroom sink.

That's where mine is although the dealer shortchanged me the remote so I don't have one.

The dealer told me that they don't have remotes anymore. But he factory said it should have it. I.ve been going back and forth but can get the dealer to get my remotes. I didn't even get one for the led awning lights
