We did not like using our "Reading Lights" at night while in bed because they were so bright.
I bought these

I'll try to add pictures.
I disassembled the ugly, cream colored plastic housing and dismounted the lights.
Drlled a hole just as far as my fingers could push the switch into place without enlarging the original hole. Tightened down the locking nut after making sure the white line was lined up straight aft.
Gently pushed the circuit board up in there, (yeah, I broke a few wires and had to re-solder them back on)
Remounted light and viola! it worked!
We've been out camping since and they work great. No flickering!
