LED Conversion.

Not exactly the perfect experiment but you get the point.

I replaced all 19 incandescant 921 bulbs with LEDs.

I charged the batteries to 13.4v between each "test" and left all 19 bulbs on for one hour and then checked voltage at my Cobra inverter.

As you can see, the incandescant bulbs ran the batteries down to 12.2v and the LEDs only pulled the batteries down to 13.3v.

I ordered two packs of 20 off eBay for around $20 bucks. I'm sure their cheapo's compared to other LED's, but they put off enough light for us and they are MUCH cooler when on.

I bought them from Amazon. $23.30 for ten bulbs. What a huge difference it makes because we boondock 95% of the time.

I also bought mine off of ebay, we bought the cool white versions, they give a much brighter light which our tired old eyes appreciate for reading.

Been using them for 2 years in this rig and 3 in our old Airstream.

I just changed twenty lights from the 921 lamps to an e-bay purchased twelve LED warm white pancake lamp. While the light intensity as about the same, the current draw is way less. While we don't plan to boondock often, it is nice to be able to should the need arise.
