Best glue for led strip??

Shouldn't we have a forum for the exterior of the rv? Any who, the led strip that runs up the front cap of my rig is peeling off. It's only the first 1/2" or so, but I want to fix it asap. Don't really want to dab silicone behind it and tape it down overnight. Any glue that will stick it to the fiberglass? I do plan on dabbing over the top of it with silicone once it's stuck down.

3M moulding tape... I will have to check the number on the stuff I have. But we use to adhere control panels in nuclear plants. IIRC it is 3M VHB, it comes in a variety of widths and can be cut down to fit. It is what I am using to adhere my LED's under my awning... when I get around to installing them.

3M makes a "Plastic and Emblem Adhesive" part #08061. I've used it for many years for repairs. There's also a #03601, not sure what the difference is if any. Here's a copy & paste description from the Autozone site;

Features & Benefits

3Mô Plastic and Emblem Adhesive 03601 is an exceptional choice for repairing and attaching plastic, vinyl and metal. It is a clear adhesive which is strong, quick-drying and can be used for bonding plastic or metal emblems, interior rigid plastic, taillight lenses, vinyl side moldings or upholstery. It is resistant to water, heat and fuels.
Strong adhesive with good holding power
Interior or exterior use
Use on a wide variety of surfaces
Holds quickly and permanently
