BBQ quick connect
We just took delivery of our Voltage 3805. Upon inspection of our unit, imagine our surprise when we discovered that there is no provision for using an outdoor BBQ!
It looks to me that since I need regulated gas (low pressure) I will need to tap into the propane line on the drivers side downstream of the regulator and run the line over the generator enclosure to the propane locker on the passenger side. This will provide low pressure gas regardless of which tank valve is open.
What have the rest of you done to remedy this situation?

I just put a T connection on the passenger side tank and attached a 12' flexible gas line to it. Works fine. Hose rolls up and stores with tank.

Yup! My last tt came with one also. I was shocked when I discovered there wasn't one on my new 3805! I can watch tv from anywhere in or around my th, but I can't burn a chicken. Oh well, we will fix that.

Mine is after the regulator as I removed the regulator from my grill. Go before the regulator if you have a regulator on your grill

If you have a Weber grill, they make a nice quick connect hose with all the necessary fittings.

Dawnie - correct, but I still removed the regulator and went up one size on the burner orifice so we can get a good seat on the steaks

I was wondering why you would want to sit on a steak!

I always sit on my steaks, it tenderizes them and it feels nice.
I did have to remove the regulator on our weber, it only took a few minutes. The burner still works great, it will get up to 600f just like my bigger one at home. That will burn your seat.

I gotta sit on the steaks to keep the dog from grabbing them.
Love my Weber grills. I have 3 of the charcoal and a Q. Next year I will pony up for the Weber Genesis for the house. I have one 18" Weber kettle grill that is pushing 30 years old, just ordered a new charcoal grate for it, ya think something made in the USA would last longer than that!
