AC outlets

I would really like to add a 110 outlet in the bear cave at the front as well as the small storage box at the back end of my unit. I store my portable air compressor and my hand drill in the small box and would like to keep them charged when connected to AC. Has anyone done this on a newer Kodiak?

Re: AC outlets

Haven't done it on a Kodiak, but just added one on my 2012 Infinity. In most trailers, there are one or two 15-amp circuit breakers that service all the miscellaneous AC outlets and 110-volt lighting in the unit. In mine, I found 2 metal electrical boxes near the converter where all these AC circuits converged. It was easy to splice in (using mar connecters) an additional line to feed the new AC outlet. Hope this helps in your case.

I added one just on the outside right next to the front storage door I used an outdoor cover...Could have just as easily put it inside, all I did was tap a wire off the outlet box on the bedroom night stand, it backs up to the man cave.

Are you sure there isn't an outlet already in the bear cave along with an overhead light? My 2012 263RLSL has both in the front bear cave plus an outside outlet very near to the bear cave door.
