Well the light came in and I already had an obstacle.....The SO said...." You ain't putting that in my trailer." Opps , back to square one.
So the mad internet search began to find a light that met with her approval. We found this one and ordered it after it was deemed acceptable for her trailer.

https://www.rvupgradestore.com/Under...-p/18-1364.htm

So this story will be continued once we receive the new approved light

I gotta admit she has better taste than us dudes.

That gets rid of the headknocker aspect, but holds onto the ambiance. Nice.

Well the ole knoggin' knocker is out and the new LED light is in.
The SO is happy. 'Nuff said!

FYI, 3 screws & 2 wires to remove the old light, wire it up and 2 screws to mount the new light. Easy!

That looks great. Now i'm wondering why you have that big square trim piece in the middle of your slide. And you're missing a storage door in the middle.

I think that big square trim piece was to guide your head into the previously installed knoggin knocker

Will have to look at that missing storage door too!

Haha.
Is that light a blueish color? I prefer my led lights to be the bright white almost blue color. Butter is for toast.

No, they are little yallar for me, they are #921 in 2w-160lu. We would like them brighter too. Someone told me to look for & try 4w-250-300lu to get good bright white ones.

I have the big (oversized) cornice work too. And only 2 doors to the upper cabinet.
I slide my valuables (mad cash) over into that center section.
Hopefully the nosey kids assume all that boring dad-stuff that's right at the doors is all that is up there and it throws them off!

These are what I have, they are bright white/bluish color. They are cheap as far as leds go, I had one doa, but the rest are all performing well.

Be patient with them, they can be a little tricky to install.

I received the LED Bulbs earlier this week and installed them this morning. Yes they are delicate little buggers, but I like the bright light they put out.

Below is a comparison of standard and the LED bulbs side by side and in the light too. Thanks again!
