I know this is an old thread, but can you share some details on the fireplace install? What brand/model #, modifications to cabinet required, power, etc?

We have the same trailer, and I would love to do the same thing. We don't use those cupboards anyways, and not having to run propane to heat that area in the morning would be a nice option.

I do not have the measurments any more But what i did is measure the opening where the doors attach L and W then measure inside L W and D. . I have the receipt and book on the fireplace but it it in binder in our fiver up north. we will be going up there this weekend so i will find the information for you. I just cant remember off the top of my head so sorry.
I want to add that works awsome! when it is chilly at night with turn in on for the night and it keep the trailer nice and warm and the ambiance with out the heat is romantic
Oh also my DH took the shelves out, drilled a hole in back of where fireplace whould go and a hole behind the tv so it wont show and put in the fireplace and put trim around firplace to fill in the small gaps around it and then i painted the trip to match the oak

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah it seems like a great idea. Would love to add that concept to our trailer as well.

Love the fireplace upgrade, would think about installing one myself. what mods did you do to the cupboard to accommodate the fire place, besides removing the doors, removing the shelves and building and staining the new surround? Did you run a whole new circuit for the electricity from the panel or did you tap into an existing circuit?

I am also interested in the make and model of the fireplace you installed.

Thank you for the info.
