2017 Aspen Trail 1900RB back up camera

Hey guys and gals! New to the Thread and I'm happy to be here! Just bought a 2017 Aspen Trail 1900RB and It looks like it's pre wired for a back up camera so I'd like to add one. Any tips on where I could find one? Does it connect to your screen in your truck? Thanks for the help!

Hey rvansickle,

I'm not for sure how the prewired backup camera for this RV works but I saw a great video on installing a custom backup video camera solution for under $100 I think - https://youtu.be/6UIG-31UCFU.

Here is an off the shelf solution for quite a bit more - Installing a TadiBrothers Wireless RV Backup Camera System.

I did a quick search and found a Forest River forum thread which discusses prewired RV cameras as well. On that forum it looks like you get power for a wireless camera and you'd still need to go to furrion.com or some other vendor to get the wireless camera/monitor. Maybe something like this - https://www.furrion.com/store/camera...tem-p-915.html.

That forum post is here - http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ra-111859.html.

Not sure, do not see anything on my 2016. When I need one i use my hitch ball wireless camera. It has magnetic mount and put in on the rear bumper to back into a spot. My truck does not have a built in backup camera.

On the back of ours if you look up there's a bracket/ housing that says "Back up camera wired". When I get back into town I'll take a picture and post it on here. I should have done that before I left.
