My new to me Toyhauler

It's a 2002 Monaco Signature Triple Crown. Triple slides with Cummins ISM engine rated at 500 HP. 1550 on torque.
It is a Toyhauler as you can see the motorcycle rack on the back.

Neat. If it's as clean on the inside as the outside looks, you've got a beauty.

Thanks Rusty
It's cleaner on the inside than the outside. First MH I've ever had.

Nice...

That is the ultimate toy hauler, you're already hooked up for your motorcycle. You could tow a big boat instead of a canoe or a car hauler instead of a side by side!!!

Or he could pull a 10 wheeler pup, like I used to behind a tri-axle dump truck.
That "only" had a 350 big cam cummings and would routinely haul 70 tons around. If only that thing had a 13 speed in it, I would ask to chauffeur you around for a trip or two. Good lord that's a lotta engine for a tour bus

Yea I'm still around. Will be picking it up come this Friday. Wife has new bed spread for it. We will also be replacing a couch with 2 chairs. Chair should be here tomorrow. Bought it out of Arizona over in the Phoenix area. Trading in our 2003 33' Teton 5th wheel. Got $14,750 from them sight unseen. I had it for sale for $16k so I think that's not bad.
I'll post inside pictures once I'm in debit for it.

Oh NOOOOOO not the the Teton!

I would own one of those if I had something left around here to tow it with. That has to be one of the THE BEST 5'vers ever built.

No doubt it was one of the very best built. The Monaco I'm buying had a MSRP of five times what the Teton was. Yet the inside cabinets look every bit as good & maybe even a little better. Yea we are going to miss the Teton but we are also looking forward to the MH. Now we just need to get the Voltage sold.

Ya the older Monaco's are good solid units. Let someone else take the depreciation hit!

I have been looking at some Dynamax Dynaquest units. I would buy one that is at least 5 years or older. Here is one that I looked at.

We've walk through those before. All of them were very nice. Can't go wrong with a Freightliner. The Monaco we bought is on a Roadmaster Chassis. Has the ISM Cummings engine. Independant front suspension & disc, disc, drum brakes. Has both air & hyd. levers.
For a big as it is I was surprised at how well it handles & drives.
I know I wouldn't get 10 mpg like I do towing with my F-350. Seven is what I'm shooting for.

Picked up the Monaco this past weekend. They found a few things that needed to be fixed. So here are some pictures. You can see it's a toyhauler because of the motorcycle rack on the back.

Yea it is nice and sure could have never afforded the price when new back in 02. MSRP was 1 1/2 times what my home on 5 acres was.
I have a big learning curve. You can start the generator at for different places. Those round flush lights you see in the pictures. There are 64 of them. Trying to figure out just all the light switches is Oh but it rides nice.
