Thanks. Glad it was an uneventful weekend camper wise, lol. I don't think I will brag about Memorial Day weekend weather anymore, even though it didn't rain us out, it was a hot and humid weekend.
The water was cold, but I still went in it Sat and Sun, got used to it after awhile. The best part about going to the beach was watching our 3 year old toddler filling her bucket with sand, and dumping it over and over, she is so content with the littlest things at times.

We went to Yosemite where the water was about 51 degrees. My daughter dives right in (5), my 4 year old is a little more conservative. I'm the one who goes into the water with them so, like you, it took me a little time to get used to. I'm grateful it was only waist deep. With kids, it's the little things that can put the biggest smile on your face. ;-hap

We didn't camp, but visited some friends who were camping at Devils Lake State Park. The air temp was 94 degrees!!! Cold or not, but that water felt darn good!!!

Didn't wake us up nearly as much as the water in Lake Michigan did this weekend!!! I was in ankle deep for about 5 seconds and had enough. The kids, on the other hand, were jumping and diving around like the lake was getting drained tomorrow!!! And I'm better insulated that they are!
