“Solo Cup” Frozen Margaritas

Gettin' ready for the spring scrimmage this weekend,
thought I would share my favorite tailgate recipe!!!

“Solo Cup” Frozen Margaritas

In an ice cream maker (preferably the wood barrel style) mix…
1.75 ltr bottle of Jose Cuervo Margarita Mix or favorite
One 16 oz Solo Cup of Orange Juice or favorite (this is the secret ingredient)
One 16 oz Solo Cup of favorite Tequila
¾ Solo Cup (12 oz) of Triple Sec or or Grand Marnier
¼ Solo Cup (4 oz) of Everclear (Optional, which means if DW is not there)
This mix will fill a standard 4 qt container

For best results…
In the kitchen sink (especially of it’s hot outside)
Insert canister in ice cream maker and turn on
Layer the ice a Solo Cup at a time sprinkled with ice cream salt
Churn about 30 to 45 minutes or until ice cream maker stops turning

WARNING: Do not serve in Solo Cups unless the game is already over,
I'll usually serve with a ladle in small 6 oz plastic cups.
One batch is twenty 6 oz servings.

Holy cow, Horned Toad , that sounds good. I'm moving to Texas. BTW, I didn't get the nickname Wino from drinking grape juice. If that Quervo Margarita mix has tequila in it also, you might have a recipe for removing the fiberglass off of the side of the trailer too.
