Re: Fire Pits

This is our backyard firepit(evening shot & night shot).
I cut a 38" tractor rim in half and then cut holes in the sides to allow for air feed.

Re: Fire Pits

My father-in-law is the official "fire stoker." He starts it first thing in the morning and tends to it all day. If anyone gets near it, you're in jeopardy of getting your shins racked by his walking stick!

Re: Fire Pits

Unfortunately in Kamloops open fires in the back yard are not allowed as we have had serious wild fires due the dead and drying out of pine trees killed by the pine beetle. But when camping we sure have a nice campfire when allowed. The wife is the fire maker...we carry the official fire stick when camping.
Great picks thanks

Don't have a fire-pit at our new house yet but it's in planning stage. Got to come up with a better one than this one from the old house.
