Charlotte Motor Speedway / Carolina Rebellion 2017

Has anyone camped at the Charlotte Motor speedway? We bought the camping package with full hookups and don't know what to expect.

i drive by 1to 3 times per week. if your staying at Tom Johnson, ( or what is now a camping world),all paved, very nice. big sites with lost of room for turns. not too sure if its walking distance to the track, i guess ya could. less than 1/4 mile away from the nascar track, but need to cross a very busy street. well. maybe i remember an overhead walk way..

Thanks. We're looking forward making the trip since it will be our 1st. It's going to be interesting since most of the campers will be arriving and departing at the same time. The festival will be in the field across from the tracks and we're apparently going to have a bus that will get us there. April 4-6 might not be a good time to drive through there.
