We all know the pros and cons of wood trailer construction but I was wondering if they use heavier studs for Toy Haulers compared to a Travel Trailer? You would think so considering the cargo capacity of a Toy Hauler vs a Travel trailer.
All the extra weight is on the floor. Not an RV engineer, but it seems to me any extra "heft" would be in the floor joists and frame and suspension............etc. Walls and roof probably like a trailer.
But...........then I have been wrong once this year already

The Voltage roof and walls are no different from my lil 22ft Aerolite. A light wood truss covered with a flimsy sheet of plywood covered with a thin rubber membrane. The walls are an aluminum, foam, and lauan sandwich. If you go to the Dutchman website it shows the flooring, wall and roof construction. The garage flooring is way heavier than a standard camper would have.

You know it's all about that base, about that base.
The areas most critical would be the floor structure and the ramp and rear ramp frame, all the rest would be the same as any other trailer, so I would assume that is where the differences would be.
