Ok guys, got one for ya here...
My next project is replacing the canopy on my main awning. I've already ordered & received the new ones, and will be doing the job next week.
As part of that, I want to incorporate the LED lights on the roller tube. The replacement canopy I ordered has the required power-wire sewn in, so that's no issue. The problem is getting power to the lights.
So here's the question: where do the Extend/Retract wires from the awning's motor head go after they enter the bodywork of the RV? Obviously they end up at the control panel by the door... but how do they get there?
I realize that various models may differ... but for my 3200, I need to know whether they stay at the same level and pass behind the bathroom wall, or do they drop down to the basement and pass under the bathroom floor and then back up to the control panel?
The reason I ask is I have no idea how I'm going to fish a wire from the forward awning bracket where the hole already is, back to a switch in the control panel. It's at least an 8-to10 foot run with the only obvious access behind the panel.
Any ideas?
