Angry What does the generator power?

Just brought home a new 2016 4150 and while trying everything out I noticed that none of the 110 outlets in the TH are powered by the generator. Is this normal? Why wouldn't they be powered by the generator? I bought the Voltage intending to use it dry camping frequently so I guess I am going to have to get an inverter?

If NONE of your 110 outlets is working on generator, I'd check the two 30 amp breakers on the generator itself (under the cover on the left side), then the transfer switch after checking the breaker panel for tripped breakers. If only select ones aren't working, I'd check the GFCI outlet to ensure it is not tripped.

Generator should power your 120 volt outlets unless something is switched off or wired wrong. Are other things like your A/C working? Also if your unit does not have the automatic transfer switch you have to physically plug the RV power cord into a plug that is wired to the generator. You would not believe how many times I have seem people miss that one.

Yes all outlets are powered by the generator.

As recommended check the breakers (On the generator), then breakeron the inside pannel, the GFCI outlet and the automatic transfer switch.

Voltages come with an automatic transfer switch and everything should work automatically. If it doesn't, something is wrong.

You have made the right choice, it will work. You just have to find the Gremlin...

Good luck with sorting this out.
