What are they for ???

On the back of my TH ( v3200 ) on both sides of the ramp attached to the outer edge of the trailer ( not the ramp ) there is 1 inch square tubing about 6 or 8 inches long welded to the frame. They are located exactly the same distance from top / bottom, almost where the handles are to open the rear ramp. Anyone know what they are for ?

I took the picture from the net .. I'll take a close up tonight and post it. I have a black tarp / door that goes across where the ramp closes, I've never installed it, is that what your referring to ?

Did you buy it used? Looks like it could be for a flagpole!?!

I did purchase used but bought direct from owner and I asked him if he had them installed .. said no, he purchased it new from dealer and they were on it when he took delivery. I do like your idea of using as flag poles ...

tubes on the back

My 3200 does not have that... However it is possible the those tubes hold the rods that support the rear awning. Mine did not come with that so I have to secure them from the patio rails.

My rear awning brackets don't look anything like that. I had to have my dealer order me the brackets because they left them off of my trailer. I mounted them to the vertical rail right about where those mystery tubes are, instead putting them on the ramp.

Not sure what they are for (my 3200 doesn't have them either)... but I like 'em. Those puppies look like they're plenty large & sturdy enough to hold L-brackets that one could make & hang small side-tables when using the fold-out benches... or even a complete workbench.

Maybe I'll have a 1 or 2 of them welded to mine!

I don't have them either. I've got the rear awning.

Did you forget that Dutchman doesn't have any plans how to build these so no two are alike from factory. 🙈🙉🙊
