Water Running After AC Shuts Off

Every once in a while we hear a stream of water (about 3 seconds) running from somewhere at the moment the Main AC turns off. I have heard it in the past and have removed the AC only to find the air box dry. Has anyone else had this problem?

Cale

Not really a problem, more like A/C condensate being drained out.

I wonder if you are hearing the "coolant" equalizing in the system? It makes a sound similar to water running.

That would be my guess. All my RV A/C units have made a sound like that.

Thanks, I do not hear it often, but it was loud enough that the wife came and asked me if there was water draining into the ceiling...

Thanks,
Cale
