Getting ready to go on a trip this week so I turned on my hot water heater and now the pressure release value is dripping water after it heated up any ideas why it would do that

The seal in it might have deformed a bit, or possibly a bit of trash got caught in it. Turn the heater off, open a tap, then lift the lever and try rotating the lever a bit, then flip it back down. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. They aren't outrageously expensive to replace ~$35 or so.

Thank you that seemed to work for now. I went ahead and pickup a spare

Does anyone know what size piping on a 2013 Rubicon 2900 water heater?
Atwood lists both 1/2" and 3/4" part numbers for the pressure valve.

Thanks in advance for the help!
