Water Heater and Window Woes

Hello first time out and we are ironing out the bumps, as we figured we would be...........We have a 2015 Voltage 3605, and we love it, but...........

first.....turning hot water heater on, is there a special trick other than flipping a couple of switches inside!? It's been over an hour and still no hot water...... =(

Also, anyone else have this problem with windows, ours keep coming off track when opening or closing..very frustrating......!?

Agspenser,

I had the samer hot water issue on our 2016 3805. Turned out the outside shower valve was slightly open allowing back flow. Closing that faucet solved our issue.

Haven't had any window issues!

My garage window did the same thing. Couldn't get the sliders back into the tracks without causing more damage to them so I had to drill out the rivets holding in the mechanism to slide the thing back into the tracks. Put machine screws and nuts back in place of the rivets. I went on line and bought a couple spare mechanisms too since I just had a feeling someday I'd need them.

Yup....had the same issue with our window in the garage Had to drill out the rivets, put the track mechanism back together and re-rivet. Not a pleasant day....

Do you have two different size window mechanisms? The problem window on the road side has short arms attaching to the window with no travel stops. The window on the entry door side has long arms with travel stops. Both windows are the same dimensions. Not sure what the purpose of that is?

Huh....mine are both the same. Both windows open approximately 2 3/4".

I'm curious if your water heater is working normally now? If it was bypassed and empty and you had the electric heating element on, I'm sure it would have fried the element and it will need to be replaced. If it was on gas, I think it may be OK but I would still think some things got hotter than they should! If the tank was full but bypassed, then I would suspect everything is fine because the thermostats would have stopped heating once the water was up to temp.
