Man Steve, I'm sick. Can't even imagine what you and your wife are going through right now. So glad that everyone is ok from injury. God is good! Praise Jesus!

I am very glad you all are okay. Truck and trailer can be replaced. I live just east of Dallas and we come up to AR every year a few times - Lake Oauchita - beautiful state. I am amazed at the quality of drivers these days all over the place and the blatant disregard people have. There needs to be a national hands free law with severe penalties if caught. The stuff I see driving in traffic in Dallas is awful - and yes, I am occasionally guilty of it too.

Man, that is horrendous, glad you are physically ok. Things can be replaced, you can't. The pictures are simply amazing! The amount of destruction is mindblowing. The fact that your hitch stayed hooked to the trailer makes me wonder what hitch you had? Hope you get it all worked out.

The hitch was a Pro Series 20K with a Pro Series slider.

Thank the Lord, you all walked away from this. This had to be one of the most stressful days of your life! Did you have fuel in you camper gas tanks? If so that is the most positive thing I noted no leaking fuel and fire! Good Luck and Prayers with dealing with the insurance and other hassles that follow!

Yes, both fuel tanks were full of gasoline. As far as I know the tanks did not leak during or after the wreck.

I gotta ask, why, in a long bed truck do you have a slider?

Omg! God definitely was looking out for you guys, thank God! So sorry to see your home on wheels though, hopefully the insurance doesn't give you grief. Just amazed to see the wreckage & you guys walking away intact! Hopefully that bozo gets more than a ticket! What a dunderhead!

I have had 3 motor homes before this. This was my 1st 5th wheel rig. I did not know any better. Salesman said it would help in a tight. I never did use it.

We really want another RV of some type. We have owned 3 motor homes and the Voltage. We think we'd like to have another MH. We are looking for a real deal on a MH currently.

Steve:

That's great, I hope you didn't get burned to bad by the Ins. Co. I wanted to get a motor Home at first, but I have 2 Large Labs that we take with us most of the time and when we go to the lake with our son family and the grand kids, we need the extra beds….We also place a Waverunner and Kayak sometime in the garage…Anyway hope to see you on the rode again soon I see a 45ft 4 slide MH LOL
