Voltage V3200 Seals on Slides

When I retract the slides after it has been raining the seal don't swipe the water off. Has anyone else had this problem. I was told by a dealer the seals are not firm enough, but that is the way they are made. I have never had this issue with any other RV I have had. Any body else have this issue?

I have the same model.. what seals are you talking about.. Are you saying the top of the slides or where

Top of the slides. The sides are fine.

You may need to get the retractable covers that go over the slides. They are designed to keep debris out and allow water to run off the top of the slides. They are very common on most all campers with slides.
If your not familiar with them, they attach to the body and to the slide. As it rolls out it pulls the cover out with it. It looks very much like an awning over the slides. Since the Voltage is trimmed in black the dealer will probably have to order them for you. Most slides are white in color.

I had the retractable slide awning installed on our Kodiak over the super slide and I am quite impressed it! It's made by Carefree of Colorado and it sure keeps the water and debris off!

Which model did you purchase? I saw Kover II and Kover III. At least from the writeup the III mentions to help keep water out.

I have the Kover III. I think it was around $700 installed. I do not have the metal cover that goes over the roller tube though. It looks nice, but I didn't think it was worth the extra $300.

the cover gives it the fine finished look that accents the Voltage which IMHO is a beautiful camper. It also keeps sun and rain off the rollers when not in use. I agree steep but you might regret it afterwards.

Thanks for the info. I will take a hard look at the cover. I agree you hate to ruin the look and cause more maintenance when we pay what we do for the RV.

I found that if you slightly un-level your trailer, the rain will not stand on the slides,, a lot cheaper if you don't have the $$$$$ for toppers..

It should seal on the top of your slide the same as it does on the side of it,the cover for the slides is nice and I think a lot of Voltage owners will need them cause of leaks on there slides,my does at the front of the main slide if weather and wind are just right and its a 2013 Voltage 3600 ToyHauler,brand new..
