V3605 or v3805

Hello All,

Im in the market for a new camper and have narrowed it down to the 3605 or 3805. the only difference my wife and I can find is the garage is longer and 1,000 lbs. For those who purchased could you let me in on your decision and why?

Thank you in advance!
Kevin

We chose the 3605 because I has two axles. We haul to scooters and the 11' garage is adequate. Other than the garage and axles, the living space is identical.

I agree with Bumpa plus I didn't want the extra length, or cost.

The 3605 from nose to tail is 40'2" long and that's all that will fit in my building. We love the layout.

We chose the 3605, didn't want anything longer, plenty of room. After using it for almost 2 years now we have no regrets.

I was in the same boat, 3600 or 3800. Only difference was 2 feet in the garage. Didn't have the need for the extra 2 feet.

We were at the opposite end of this decision. We went with the 3805 because we needed the 14 ft garage for the formula ford race car. Glad we did and we love it. Over 6000 miles already on it in 4 months - and no issues at all. Great trailer.

I'd say 41% off MSRP was very good. I was always told that as a rule of thumb, anything over 30% is a good deal, although I've only bought two units. Regardless, as long as you love it, whatever the price; you're a winner. Congratulations.

Yes you got a very good deal better than I got on mine. I know you will enjoy the V3605 we sure have ours. Towed it to South Dakota two summers ago. This past summer towed it to Glacier N.P. So that's over 6k miles with just those two trips. No major problems at all.

Very good deal, plus you don't have to deal with the Schwintek slides like some of us have to.

Posted in another post about the 3605 experiences. Glad to hear things are going well with your units as My wife and I had to cancel an order for a '14 V3605 due to an employment situation (got transferred). Now that things are settling down, we are looking to buy a V3605 sooner than later. I am really liking the fact the Schwintek system was replaced with cable, but I am not experienced with either, so I have no comment on which is better than the other.
