TV / Stereo Connections

My 3950 has 4 TV's. The bedroom has only a coax connection. Living room has coax and component etc connections that appear to be connected to the front Sony DVD stereo system. The garage and outside TV's have coax and component connections but I have no idea where the component connections go or what they are connected to. Also, can someone explain the surround sound system? All the wires are connected to the Sony DVD / stereo and speakers but none of the speakers work, no mater what I try.
Thanks

We have the same model and same year. The bedroom is not wired to the living rm system in our unit only the antenna. We put in a great $100 blu ray player just for the bedroom.
The outside and garage are wired together for a crappy DVD player in the garage.

The living room is a crappy tv with a crappy surround system. Spend $800 or so for a newer 4k tv, a 4k $100 blu ray and a better sound system and you will much enjoy it much more.

If you are asking about the living room, it should all come out of the TV or sound bar. If I remember correctly, I had to change the wiring around because the sound bar came only connected to the DVD/blue ray player. Or they may have had the in/out backwards, I can't remember.

The garage and outdoor TV are supposed to be connected with the ability flip switches and control the movement of sound out of the radio/dvd player and the TV. You are also supposed to be able to watch a movie outdoors from the DVD player in the garage. Mine is wired wrong and it is one of my projects to fix it. Last summer someone put on a post about trying to trace it all and it was a mess. You can pull out the radio in the garage easy enough, but it there is a rat nest of wires behind it. My bag of goodies came with the RCA cables needed to get it all connected but not all of the switches are connected to hook into the outdoor and ceiling speakers.

Unfortunately, all I can say is good luck trying to figure it out. I don't know if the dealers put this together or if they come from the factory this bad, but it is a systemic problem with the 3950s along with a host of others.
