you can use the butyl tape also...

I use it whenever I need to put a screw into something on the outside of the RV. Comes in a 30' roll and takes forever to use but I just keep it around.

FINALLY got around to knocking this off the to-do list while camping last weekend. Very happy with the results. No more heat/sub buckled trim or trim flapping in the wind while going down the road. Really appreciate the info, Pirate!
