Stupid Question

We were supposed to purchase a 2017 Dutchmen Voltage Triton 3451 on Saturday and my wife and I were looking at the photos again and noticed there were not any holes in the floor for a small table in front of the sofas to eat on.
I know there was a fold up one for the garage area but I dont want to sound snobby but I like to watch tv while I eat and dont really want to eat in the garage.

Are we missing something or is that the intention is for rv'ers to eat dinner in the garage with that model?

All the photos show a nice comfy couch but no table or table leg inserts.
The rational must be because the slide floor wouldn't clear leg inserts when the slide is retracted.
A design FUBAR at its best.
Looks like you'll need a portable table to set up each time to want to eat or drink and then, even then the couch doesn't look like it would be a good place to sit while trying to enjoy a meal.
Upon further perusal a floor plan shows a small stowable table to use in front of the couch. Stills looks uncomfortable.

First of all these's no such thing as a stupid question.
I noticed that for 2017 most all Voltages I saw had no table set up for that couch.
My guess is because the one they had at least in my 2014 was useless.
Here is how we did it that worked just fine.

The inserts for the floor would be easy to add after the fact.

There is only one stupid question and it's the one not asked.

Trust me, you're better off without them. Very limited use... whereas if you buy/use a small portable table, you can not only place it wherever you want, but can take it outside and use it there if you like. After 4 years, I've never used mine. The legs are packed away under the bed, and the table surface itself resides under my mattress.

I'd be happy to give you the shiny metal thingies that were in the floor before I removed them from my 3950.

Triton 3451

We have that exact same model. The others are correct in that there is a folding leg table that can be placed in front of the couch, and a larger table for the three post holes in the rear compartment. I can say we use the folding table all the time, and I am about to put the larger one in storage as all it does is ride around under the rear mattress. I will say we mounted a TV in the rear compartment and use it more that the factory one. Easier to see, and plenty of room to stretch out in rear compartment.

Will say we love our Triton and have no gripes in the two years of having it.

On our 14 Voltage, we have the two holes in front of the couch for the table. Set it up once to try out. Used it for a day, then put it away. While it is a nice table, it is large and not really useable. I am pretty skilled at eating in a recliner, so that is what I do, unless we are eating outside at the big 8' table we bring with us, which is most of the time. Or sitting at the rear table in the garage, which is unlikely also, as that would invade the my kids room, which is the whole garage when camping, except for the beer fridge we have near where the W/D hook up is..

I wouldnt let the no holes be a show stopper, just get a TV tray if really needed.

We use are table alot. Over time the "pinch fit" of the legs gets worse. The table is so wobbly that if you want to get off the couch you have to treat the table like it was made of nitro, can't touch it. You can't cut even a tender steak without sloshing your drink.

I'm going to design something different asap.
OP, you are not missing out on anything.
