Storage door mis-alignment

Hi All, anybody else have basement doors that are difficult to close? Mine are clearly mis-aligned (seems to have worsened over time), causing the latch-end of the door to sit flush (when closed) against the door frame... I literally have to force the doors shut, eventually it's going to damage the door and/or the frame. Looking at the hardware, there's no obvious (to me) means to adjust the doors...?

Thanks,
Russ

It may not be the actual door itself. If your rig is not properly balance it can cause the doors to be hard to open/close. Check carefully that your rig is balance both front-to-back and side-to-side. I had this happen to me when one corner of my TT was not properly balanced and I could not open my outside kitchen door.

Well, the trailer is currently sitting at 0.0 front to back and 0.2 side to side so I don't think that's my problem... if that little bit is the cause, I'll just have to live with it.

I've had that same issue, my hinge is riveted and not adjustable. I took a 6 ft length of 2X4 setting it on the ground with the 4 inch side against the trailer and the 2 inch side along the edge of the door on the latch side. A couple of strong wacks with a heavy hammer up and down the board compressed my hinge back into alignment and allowed the door to shut without having to slam it.

There's an idea... I'll try it out. Thanks, HornedToad.
