Smoke Smell In Ductwork

I basically have the smoke smell outta the 3895, except when I have to run the AC for a while, Is there any way to get the smell outta the ductwork? Ill even get a company in to do it, if it will work? Id rather not replace the ductwork, but i will If i can figure out how to take the ceiling down easy enough and do it.....wife wants it cleaned, so if anyone has any advice.......

I would try a spray can of FaBreeze before I paid someone.

Is this smoke because of a smoker or some other issue? (electrical?)
Smoker - go to a rent-all center and see if they have an deodorizer - it is a machine hotels/motels use to remove the smoke smell.....you may have to turn on the a/c and let the unit run for about 2 - 4 hours......it works great removing smoke smells from our motel rooms......
Remove Cigarette Smell | Remove Cigarette Odor | Ozone Generator | OdorFree

Good luck!

There are many types of deordorizer....from 30.00 (small home type) - 400.00 (commercial type) - when I've used the motel's (I work at motel) - it took the smell out after 24 hours of use.....a client had rented one of my cabins and smoked in it for a week.....UHG did it smell bad before I used it....

Try using it again - see the link where they suggest leaving a window open....
