Cool, and thank you. I'll be taking that info with me when the dealer says my unit is ready.

You may want to get it to them in advance so they know the criteria you'll be using to accept it. It's worked very well for last two that I gave it to. Really good for getting Lippert, Manufacturers, and dealer in one hell of a food fight. I think it was a great move for Lippert to get this out since most significant issues with this system stems from shady install. Good luck!

I don't think lack of use can be detrimental. However, if I leave mine sit all Winter...first thing I do is lubricate the gear mechanisms.

Have the wife run the slide out far enough for me to get the spray can in and lubricate, then run on out.

Really seems to help!!

Slow slides??

By the looking over my slides today. I use factory recommended lube and I see build up of sludge the v-Rollers and some of the track. This doesn't look good. What do you think?

After first two applications of CRC I noticed slides started to run sluggish. When I went to spray them a 3rd time I noticed the same buildup. Took me 2 days of cleaning to get the crap out of there. Never used it again and slides are running smooth. I recalled the day I did my PDI when the tech stressed the importance of keeping the Assy's clean.

Keep the Assy clean between use and hit it with plain WD40 before I cycle them. It you have the bigger motors they may power thru the sludge left from heavy lubes like CRC, but mine have the smaller motors and don't like the thick stuff. Not saying this is for everyone, but it's keeping my slides happy for the time being!

Slow slides??

Don't like sludge buildup. How were you able to clean area where gib and drive gear behind wipe seal!. Going to try dry lube I use ion my bicycle chain that was developed by Boeing

Pick your cleaning solvent of choice. I used dawn dish soap and water to clean track and a wd40 cleaning solvent to clean Gib, roller and block Assy. Used tooth brush on as much of the Assy as I could reach. Took 2 full days to clean up all 3 slides. Finished up with a good coating of wd40 cycled each slide twice and all was very smooth. I now take 15 minutes to spray them prior to breaking down.

As far as the dry lube I tried that before the CRC. While I didn't have the build up, the slides just didn't operate as smoothly as I like.

Looking forward to hearing your results!

Mark
