You wouldn't be disappointed. After we got one for the house we knew we needed to get one for the RV also.

I just measured the struts I purchased from CW it looks to be 21" extended and approximately 12" compressed.....

I found a label www.mygassprings.com - part # is SE200P-90 - if I'm reading this right - it looks like a 90# strut?????

Sorry guys if this is a "dumb women" question/topic!

Thank you both!!!!!

I will get some dimensions for you later this week, I just checked and my wife cleaned out a Bed, Bath and Beyond store somewhere and it is all stored on the bed in the camper.

Nope... did that earlier this year. I think the stuff is for one of the cabins at the Boy Scout camp where we are going to be next weekend.

Finally got a chance to measure...

My compartment is 45" from the hinge to the front edge of the compartment. My struts are 17" extended and are 90#. According to the HatchLift website that is the Small kit. I also have a divider about 30" in from the front edge. I started with Standard sized lift kit but there wasn't enough clearance for the bigger struts.

For reference my lower strut mounts are 27" from the hinge, top mounts are 39". Mine are a bit stiff, but I don't have our thick topper on there yet.

Hope this helps a bit.

Received our Sleep Number bed a few days ago and have had three nights on it so far. We think we like it, but unsure. The hardest thing right now is she likes a lower number (30-35), I like a higher number (80-85) and if we want to sleep next to each other, I am laying above her. We are going to give it a month or so, if no joy, then we will get one from matressinsider.com. We had one of their mattresses in our Outback and loved it...

That was my biggest hang up about the sleep number bed......we always sleep "touching" each other....

Cale,
I am sure you saw the note in the sleep number manual but I thought it would be worth mentioning since you will be headed east soon, dont forget to deflate your bed somewhat before heading over the mountians. Otherwise that pop you hear my not be a tire.....

We love ours, I am a 65, wife is a 50. No issues with us sleeping next to each other...... Because our two dashounds are middle of the bed hogs!
