Side Trim Source?

Plastic side trim on our V3605 has shrunk, leaving gaps and tearing the graphics. Out of the warranty period now, but identified as a warranty issue by Camping World in Mesa, AZ over a year ago. Dutchmen approved, but CW couldn't get the parts ordered and delivered by the time for us to move on. (We full-time and figured 8 weeks over the holidays was more than enough time for them to have the rig and fix it.)

Does anyone have a source for the rubber side trim that should have been used?

Fred,

If you do a search for RV mouldings you will have a bunch of sites listing them and it you click the Images tab of you search engine you can find about every RV moulding that's been made.

All you need to find the right moulding are the shape and the size of the mounting rail.

I don't understand why CW had so much trouble getting the moulding, me local independent repair shop has a rack that is nothing but rolls of mouldings, evry shape and color you could hope for.

Probably another Detchmen ploy to evade warranty costs.

This stuff doesn't come in rolls. It's straight & comes in 10' sections. Mines been doing the same thing for over a year now. I lost 2 sections came off driving. I'm still looking.

Xhogboss, I had mind replaced back in NOV, Desert Rat also wanted to know, I looked at the Repair Order and it stated the Molding was made by Floorline? Maybe you can call my Dealer and get the info. (916) 635-4545 Folsom Lake RV in Rancho Cordova, CA Tues-Sat....The Replacement was Rubber, so far its still good in the snow, but summer was when my old molding went bad...also most have added the molding end caps, I have them now, but waiting for spring...

My local guy has tubes of that stuff too. May be wrong, but I think he gets them in tubes like he gets his gutter rails and other metal mouldings.

Should have looked at the picture closer, I would have seen the difference.

Try these guys. Plastic & Rubber Trim & Seals | Rubber Molding & Window Trim | Trim-Lok

Here are links to two posts that have links on where to get the molding and end caps.

Just haven't gotten around to ordering enough to replace all of mine.
