If you type in G4 Led on ebay there are a bunch that come up. I went with the 5 led cool white ones 20 of them for $11. Id like them to be a little brighter so im going to spend a little more money on the next ones. Mine are 60-80 lumens. Im looking at the ones that are around 120 to 150 lumens.

These are a little more expensive but they are about the same brightness as the standard bulbs, maybe a little brighter. Robot Check

Well I finally got to see my 3950 long enough for me to get around to doing some of the great mods I have been reading about here for the last 15 months of ownership. Well actually I haven't seen these mods here yet, but ya'll have made me jealous with all of yours so I came up with a few of my own...

My first off, I took my saws-all with the longest blade I could find. Standing at the front, I placed it on the box frame for the trailerair king pin and proceeded to cut that sucker completely off.

Next, I went back to the triple axles and cut two of those clean off (I did save my TPMS sensors ).

Next I went inside and moved around some funiture so I could move my bedroom to the rear of the coach.

Back outside I did a lot of sheet metal body work, chopped 10 feet off of it and repainted the entire thing.

All this work was accomplished in one afternoon!

And the end results look pretty good........

wait for it.......

your getting closer........

Drum roll please........

Still trying to figure out if the DW's VW Rabbit can be towed 4 flat or if we have to invest in a tow dolly.

I enjoy seeing how creative everyone is in making improvements to their coach. Having to store the sewer hoses has always been a least favorite part of the camping experience. For me, I created a storage compartment behind the under skirting by using a piece of aluminum sheet. I notched and folded the ends of the sheet up and then attached the longer sides to the folded under lip of the skirting and attached the other side to frame flange. I purchased an RV Sewer compartment door (looks exactly like an outdoor shower cover, but has a sticker that says Sewer Hose) and carefully cut a rectangular hole thru the skirting to install the door and access the new compartment created behind the skirting. I will get my coach out of storage this weekend for the first time this season and will try to take some pictures to better explain.

There ya go!

Been looking at all that wasted space behind the skirt for while, thinking what I could store in there.

Added 3 pieces of 8" pvc under the rear for chairs, rug, hammock etc. Got rid of a bunch of clutter in the garage. Got the pipe on Craigslist for $1 per foot.

In my previous comments, I explained how I created a sewer hose storage compartment between the frame and underskirt on my 2015 3805. Here are some pics. My compartment is approximately 30" long and allows for storage of three 10' hoses when hoses are compressed, in addition to an elbow and "Y" connector. The air flow helps with keeping hoses dry and ready to use the next time without hassle. Hope this helps others!

Thanks!

Did a 5.5 hour PDI on it Saturday, dealership was frustrated but I did find about 10 fit & trim items for them to work on.

The gray hairs won't be going away as fast as I would like them to, the finance people have requested the same paperwork 3 times. They keep saying we are approved but they won't give us a closing date I guess they are having a hard time believing we are going to take that big of a loss and still be able to live.....
