I was looking at the same one tonight on Amazon. $243.44 with free shipping. You gonna tow a boat?

Rear garage weight ??

2011 Dutchman Voltage 3200
GAWR 7000 pds
Cargo Weight 4258 pds

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what weight I can safely haul in my garage ? I'm looking at a Smart Car that weigh's 2000 pds .. I know the car will drive in and fit in my 10 foot garage but my concern is my weight.

I'm pulling with a Dodge 3500 dual wheel

GAWR Front 5200 pds
Rear 9350 pds
GWR .. 12200 pds

Tks in advance

The tie downs are rated for 2500 pounds (But, that does probably include shock and lateral forces). the cargo capacity is between 4800 pounds and 5000 pounds.

There's a sticker in my garage that says "2500 Lb Max Cargo Capacity"

Mine as well. Cargo Capacity does not mean garage capacity.

Interesting, I wonder what it means then? I looked and cannot find "garage capacity" listed anywhere.

Any ideas?

Mine says the same thing. I believe it is the "garage capacity." The actual "cargo capacity" would be different for every trailer on the road depending on dry weight plus options. The actual cargo capacity can't be 2500# for everybody. The sticker must mean the garage cap.
For example, My unit weighs close to 13000# dry. It has a GVWR of 16500#. That means my cargo capacity is 3500#. I guess the sticker means I can put up to 2500 of that in the garage.

My sticker was inside the cabinet in the garage, the one the TV sits in.

My sticker on the outside of the RV says "Cargo Carrying Capacity 1204 kg (2654 lbs). Calculated with the fresh water tanks full Cold 568kg and Hot 38kg and the wastewater tanks empty""

I'm fairly certain the sticker indicates the garage capacity although I even question that. I have (3) 7000 lb axles yet the sticker says 20000 GVWR. I went across the scales at 21400 with an 800 lb Harley and a 700 lb Polaris in the back. Water tank was about 1/2 full, waste tanks were empty.

One thing for sure, I won't be pulling it next year, just waaaay too much weight for that Alaska trip. What a pain.

My 3950 has GVWR of 19000. With wife's Ultra / DFT trike and my Ultra we're at 18750 with NO water.

Not for nothing... but you guys have jumped the shark for hijacking this thread. Garage capacity has nothing to do with "Show(ing) Off Your Mods".

How about starting & continuing in another thread?

Added this Torklift battery box. Decided to try to eliminate a chance of lose and helps keep the batteries stabile during travel.

Ooops sorry picture is upside down.

David & Ginny, we just purchased a 2004 Dutchman 26L Sport and are wondering about a new antenna - what are the advantages? We were thinking of getting a Roku so we could get Netflix, etc., since most campsites have Wi-Fi, but just wondering if a new antenna would suffice.

I recently noticed this is a show off your mods for Voltages, not us lesser scum.

I have been guilty of posting mods in here before realizing this, apologies.

I basically navigate this forum by always hitting the new posts button, and the thread title is "show us your mods", so it's a little confusing.

Pretty sure showing off mods is showing off mods, regardless of what model. If not, I need to be corrected as well. Besides, aren't we all "trailer trash? LOL.

There is a specific forum for modifications and upgrades, but this thread was started under the toy hauler forum, which is understandable because toy haulers are a different animal compared to regular campers. And yes, we're all trailer trash.
