Sewer hose storage??

2013 V3005

this is my first RV, and was recommended a rinoFLEX expandable hose, which work well. However where do you store it? I asked a friend and he says in his bumper... but I don't have one!
I thought of a capped drain pipe from the hardware store and hang it from the chassis via pipe hangars, but I'd need a 6" pipe to fit it. that seems much too large!
What have others done?

I keep mine in a rubbermaid tub along with disposable nitrile gloves.

I did the PVC pipe deal and works great. Mine holds two Rhinoflex pipes connected together withe fittings attached - see post #136 here: http://www.dutchmenowners.org/forums...ds-666-14.html

I've seen people use a 4"x4" vinyl post jacket, that's what my bumper size is and the rhinolfex fit's in it perfectly.

I just stuff it loosely into the rear bumper, I thought that's what everyone did.

I did the 6 inch PVC pipe thing right in front of my fuel tanks.

Edit:
This forum shuts down one's ability to edit their comment pretty quickly! Anyway, sorry regarding my post above about suggesting just using the bumper. I re-read the OP and it clearly states the bumper isn't an option because there is no bumper available.

So what do you do with the elbow fitting that connects the hose to the dump pipe? Or don't you use one.

I put the hose in the bumper. I have an extension that I used once, it's back in it's box in the hatch. So is the elbow. I just keep the "dirty" stuff on one side, like the floor jack, chocks, etc, and the "clean" stuff like cooking items and water hose on the other side of the trailer. And I wash off the elbow with lots of water and wipe with a paper towel before putting it way.

We store our's in a rubber maid container in the front storage as well. The Rhino hose (at least our's) loop's around and seals together so after dumping and flushing the hose we can connect it together and no mess.

Not meaning to highjack... Buuuut, I went with those same doors ewarnerusa uses after losing a hose when the stock bumper plug departed the bumper going down the road. (Same trailer actually 2810BHS) Being an aircraft mechanic I installed them opposite of the picture though-so the airstream going down the road will actually keep the door closed rather than possibly catch the door and open it. Just a suggestion...

Mine just uses a rubber plug. That picture is just one I found online showing a house in a bumper.

I have that one as well, but in Dutchman's infinite wisdom, it is very short and under the middle of the rig. Either have crawl under to get to it, or move toward the outside. Then is only fits one hose. I like to carry two in case I have a long run or in case I want to connect both together with a wye.

Would help to know what model he has. I've never owned a RV (9 of them) that didn't have some kind of storage area for the sewer hose.

I've tried the 4" pvc pipe earlier and it wouldn't fit, But I've never knew a vinyl post jacket excised! I will as the hardware store about this.

Yep, same here. Great idea, but poorly executed. I have three hoses, been contemplating trying to do two 8 foot runs to hold all of the hose.

If you google image "PVC sewer hose storage" you'll see lots of pics on how people attach them and the end caps. I do like the idea of having the smallest possible option hanging under the camper.

Mine is still in the box it came in

I use a Sewer Solution It goes in a small rubbermaid tub in the storage compartment.
