Schwintek slide stuck

We have a 2013 voltage 3600. The big slide is stuck. One side starts to move other side does not. We aren’t sure how to fix the issue. Also not getting any codes on the control panel
Thanks in advance

I had a similar issue. Another member recommended pressing the little button on the slide controller 7 times, holding it on the 7th. The LEDs should start blinking. Run the slide all the way out, then all the way in, holding slide control button a few seconds after it is all the way. Solved my issue. Hope this helps...

So many variables with a stuck slide. Is it in or out?

You might try the manual override to see if the problem clears. You might try swapping motor controllers to see if it's a controller.
You might look around and under the floor to see if something found it's way beneath the floor.

My bedroom slide didn't want to go out but a few inches. I finally managed to get it out after doing the override option. When it did deploy all the way I found an old rubber encased dive watch on the floor. A rabid mouse had carried the watch under there and it was jamming the floor.

A search here will yield a ton of useful videos and information for troubleshooting this problem.

Thanks for the info. We tried hitting the button on the controller 7 times but didn’t help.

The slide is out.

You did hold the button until the LED starting flashing?

Did the slide make any unusual noises when you tried to bring it in?

Read through this post, it might give you some insight.

Yes it started flashing. It only makes noise when the side that moves starts struggling then stops since the other side isn’t moving

Another thing to check, pull back the rubber seal in the upper corner of the slide to expose the motor. Maybe a broken wire or the Canon plug became loose.

Had the same thing happen, it was a broken wire on the motor. I replaced with a new motor but could have just resoldered the broken wire back on to the circuit board on the top of the motor and reinstalled.

Are you sure you are looking at the controller for the big slide? I have a V 3105, which has a similar slide layout. My bedroom slide controller is in the front compartment, where the batteries are. My kitchen slide controller is in the right front storage compartment, mounted under the shower. I’ve not been able to locate the control box for the living room slide. Where is your living room slide controller located?

It’s in a compartment right in front of the big slide. Bedroom slide control is by the generator

One more thing to try. You can swap the motor wire position on the controller. That can tell you if the motor is not working for whatever reason.

If you haven’t already looked at the troubleshooting diagram and videos on Lippert’s site, you might want to try that, or call Lippert for support.

We have figured out both motors are turning. Bottom seems to be in more than the top

That's good news, sort of.
Have you tried unplugging the motors to release the motor brakes?

With the brakes off you and five of your best friends may be able to push the slide in.

If you can get it in reconnect the motors and see if you can't get them sync'd up again.

We have only tried with me and my wife and it don’t budge. It’s a big slide. Sofa and dinette. Videos make it seem like it moves easy

That's why I said five friends. I watched my slide get pushed in with one hand and it was like it was floating. However, the pinion gears had all been cut off so it was just sitting on the rollers.

There is a bearing block up there by the motor that some have found to be problematic. See if you can find a video on that problem. I may not be remembering correctly but I think the block got loose and let the pinion gear get jammed. I think you can see it behind the rubber seal.

Unless the slide is out of square, you can push the slide in after you pop the motors up. See Lipperts web site for the video on removing each motor screw, and popping them up to disengage. Then 2 people should be able to push the slide in. If not, something is binding the slide, or it’s not square. If you remove the motors, you will need to brace the slide from inside so it doesn’t come out while traveling.

I had a motor go in the bedroom slide. Onsite service tech was able to disengage the motor and push on that side while I worked the button to run the other motor. It wasn’t easy. Turned out the slide was not square and had to be rebuilt.

I’ve also had the large living room slide come partway in then stop. If I forget to close the side windows, they hit. Fortunately the system is smart enough to stop before damaging the window.
