I had the same problem with my 2016 3818. With the help of this site I also found my transmitter in the bedroom passenger side cabinet behind the black plastic cover. so I was able to take the in-line fuse out to kill power to the transmitter so it would link with the screen again.

One thing i did notice is that the camera transmitters are directional and my was installed backwards pointing towards the camera and not my truck, so I flipped it and re-installed it.

I bought a used voltage 3950 that has the backup camera. Problem is I don't have a monitior. Does anyone know if I can buy a monitior. It has the antenna so I am assuming it is wireless.

I use the Garmin 660lmt that is compatible. You also need the power cord that has the antenna in it. When you have your headlights on it will pair as you are connected to your trailer. The 660 is an awesome tool.

When some lowlife scumbag stole my monitor out of my truck the day before I left for a long trip, I searched and found a company that repairs the monitors and also sold them used (referbished), I can't remember the name of the company but they were somewhere in Louisiana. Great service they overnight expressed it to me so I could leave the next day at (my expense of course).
