I called and talked to Joni whom I think has been reassigned.. she sent it to me via email.. I have one for the electric, cable wiring and plumbing for a 3200. Its pretty basic but it does tell the wiring schematic. If you think you need it let me know i will try to post it.
I can understand your frustration with the radio. I can give you an answer as to why your radio only works with the booster on. The factory wired the radio into the tv system by mating the radio antenna to the coax for the tv. Your unit you will notice has no external radio antenna. That is because your external tv antenna is also your external radio antenna. This is why your booster must be in the on position and yes it screws up your tv if your hooked up to cable or satellite.
To verify this if your wish or must... remove your radio for the holder in the rear bay. You need a special tool that came with the radio to insert to hold the tabs and the radio will slide out. Your radio antenna will become a coax and it is screwed to a splitter that feeds the bay TV also.
I suppose Dutchmen wanted to save a buck and went el cheapo on the radio antenna.
To solve the problem get a car antenna and put it inside the wall where the radio mounts or on the outside of the box it mounts in unless you really want reception and mount it on the outside or the roof.
