Question for Voltage Owners w/ the Epic 3 Package

Got a favor to ask those of you new Voltage owners with the Epic 3 Package:

I'm assuming that you have the Sony disc player/audio head in your unit as part of that package. I'm wondering if you could do me a favor by removing it from the panel, looking on the back, and providing me with the Sony model number of the unit.

You shouldn't need to unplug anything... just pull it straight forward, turn it around, and find the model number listed on the rear plate. It should look something like the area I have circled in red on the picture below... which shows Sony Model STR-DE998:

The reason I"m asking is that I'd like to replace the Samsung head unit that is in my rig... and I can't find any component on the Sony website that even resembles what I saw in the Epic 3 rigs at the RV show last September. If I'd have been thinking, I would have checked it there, but didn't.

Anyway... thanks in advance.

Thanks, but you misunderstood.

The STR-DE998 is a full size home audio receiver, and is NOT the unit that's in the Epic 3 package. The picture is simply an image that I pulled off of the web to show as an example of where to find the model number on the back, and what I'm looking for.

Tom,
Can you share with us what you found, just in case anyone else is looking for this information and stumbles upon this thread? Thanks.

Basically I found out that it doesn't have any HDMI inputs... which is what I was looking for.

Working on another solution, but won't know before sometime next week.

What are you wanting to HDMI in? All your televisions have them. Just curious. I have a lot of electronic devices and hardly ever seem to use HDMI.
